Most requests are received in August each year although uniforms are distributed throughout the year. When requested, winter jackets are also provided as well as other items such as shoes or underwear, if funds are available.
Uniforms are packed in eco-friendly bags and a label ‘With love from Falkirk Trinity Church’ is attached. Hence the name Labelled with Love was chosen.
Anyone who needs uniforms for their children can contact the team via text to 07592954234 or email lwl@falkirktrinity.org.uk
The feedback has been very positive as we are providing at the point of need and therefore transforming the lives of the children and families at a crucial time. Another way in which we support families is providing a Christmas meal in a bag through Hallglen Pantry and a few local schools.
We are forever grateful for ongoing provision and answer to prayer. Uniforms and generous donations continue to come from the congregation of Falkirk Trinity, friends and family. We have also received support from Falkirk Asda, Morrisons and Tesco. The Project received a grant from Forth Giving and contributions from RJM Sportswear and Falkirk Food bank. Labelled With Love was set up during the pandemic in the summer of 2020 to provide new school uniforms for children from families struggling financially. At first we linked with Hallglen Pantry. Since then the project formed strong links with our local schools and agencies. We are led by where the need is greatest in supporting children and families and showing God’s love. We have also been able to support refugees and families from Ukraine.
