Sanctuary First Live

Sanctuary First would love you to join them for a full service of music, praise and reflection in the Sanctuary, where they’ll be holding their Sunday Live service IN PERSON (also live streamed to Facebook, the App and the Website).

We really hope you can make it, and if you can, please do join us at 2.45pm so that we are ready to roll by 3pm when the service begins. Tea and coffee will be available after the service, so please stay and join us for that.

A Vigil for Ukraine

On the anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine, join us for a vigil in the Sanctuary between 3.30pm and 5pm.

Come when you can and stay as long as you wish. Sit quietly and reflect on the past year. Pray for the people of Ukraine as the war continues to destroy lives and homes.

Jewellery Stall for WaterAid

As you know climate change causing floods and drought, making it difficult for many people across the world to access clean water supplies.

To raise funds for WaterAid, Helen Smith will be holding another jewellery stall after the morning service and all profits will be donated to the WaterAid. There will be a wide range of jewellery, so whether you want to shop for Christmas presents, treat yourself or a friend or buy fun earrings for Christmas, there might be something there for you!! And you will be doing a little to help others get access to clean water, sanitation and education!

Christian Aid

We are delighted that Lauren Petheridge, Christian Aid’s Community and Events Fundraising Office is coming along to the Church to speak about the work of Christian Aid.  Lauren will tell us more about the work of Christian Aid and how we can support the work of the charity.

Advent Worship

Please join us for a joyful time of carols and fellowship on Zoom for our ‘Christ, the Light of the World’ worship service. Jim Steel from Sanctuary First will provide live music.

Probationer Minister Laura says: ‘It will be an uplifting time of worship and I do hope as many people as possible will join with us in fellowship. Don’t worry if you aren’t technically minded as we’ll have Isabel as tech support. She will guide you on when to mute and help with any other questions you might have. Also, for those of you who might feel shy on Zoom, you don’t need to worry as you won’t be asked to participate, just come in and enjoy the service!’

Message Laura on LDigan@churchofscotland.org.uk to get the zoom details.
