Blue Rose Code

We are excited to announce that songwriter Ross Wilson, aka Blue Rose Code, will be playing here in August! He writes straight from, and to, the heart and his songs address universal themes of love, loss, travel, home, accepting the past and embracing the future in a deeply personal way. They are variously painted with the vibrant colours of folk, Americana, jazz, country, soul, pop and, increasingly, Celtic traditions; an eclecticism that has seen him compared to John Martyn,   Van Morrison and Tom Waits, amongst others.

We are excited to announce that we are hosting Brownbear in Falkirk Trinity! This event is in association with Afterglow Music and Scotland on Tour.

Hailing from Ayrshire, in just a few years Brownbear have taken themselves from a band tipped to do big things to selling out headline shows, sharing the stage with the likes of The Libertines, The View, Reverend & The Makers and Michael Kiwanuka.
With their debut album ‘What is Home?’ and a string of sold out headline shows already under their belt, Brownbear are getting ready to hit the live circuit again with brand new material. The first new offering since 2018, ‘Retro’, dropped in March 2020. The band’s second album will be released late 2022.
“With tight melodies, Brownbear are clean and polished guitar-pop that proves to be more than appetising live” – NME

James Grant

We are excited to announce that we are hosting gifted singer/songwriter James Grant in Falkirk Trinity! This event is in association with Afterglow Music and Scotland on Tour.
James is one of the most renowned and respected performers Scotland has ever produced. Drawing from a broad palette of pop, folk, soul, country and blues influences, and interweaving his solo compositions with Love and Money favourites, he twins darkly literate, melodically lush songcraft with his richly potent vocals and virtuoso guitar work, leavening his performances with dashes of wickedly acerbic humour. Classics from the eighties through the noughties will be performed with customary wit, style and dexterity.  It’s music to fill the heart and stir the soul.
